Kymco unveils the Like 125 EV E-Scooter with 199km range and navigation system.
Taiwanese motorcycle maker Kymco has introduced its lightweight and fairly affordable e-scooter, the Like 125 EV with 199km and the price is around € 1,200 ($ 1,359). The Kymco Like 125 EV has sleek looks, Decent ergonomics and often impressive features for its price. The Like 125 EV Electric Scooter is a versatile addition to the Kymco two-wheeler EV collection, which is growing fast.

The Like125 EV is a much lighter scooter compared to other models with similar specifications. It weighs just 94kg and is an easy driving companion for regular city travel. Its power setup delivers 4.3 horsepower and enough room to accommodate five Kymco’s Ionex batteries, thus giving a range of 199km to a two-wheeler. Ionex is Kymo’s proprietary battery technology that can charge in under an hour. The Ionex battery has a life of 1,000 charging cycles.
The Kymco Like 125 EV
The Kymco Like 125 EV bears some resemblance to some of Kymco’s gas powered models, the Like 150. There are some improvements, including the headlamp cover, the grab handle on the back and the headlight bezel, which shows a blue finish. Like the 125 EV, you can connect to your smartphone via the app to access information like battery level and speed. The digital display panel is informative and wide enough for scooter size.

Speaking of which, The Kymco Like 125 EV is expected to hit Europe at a price of 1,200 euros, which works out to approximately $ 1,700 CAD. Unfortunately, the Kymco Canada Like 125 EV seems unlikely to be brought to our market, as the national website only lists ATVs at this point. This is so bad because it is a practical machine for urban dwellers who need cheap, sensible transportation.
