ย The Boom Motors, TN, the new high-tech EV brand from the megacity of Coimbatore, lately boasted that they’ve entered over 36,000 bookings for their recently launched electric bike Boom Corbett. The company said that the vehicle will reach the dealers by January 2022.
Furnished with a swappable battery pack, the Corbett has entered a tonne of admiration from all the EV suckers across India. Also, Boom Motors has been successful in soliciting further than 60 dealers around the country. Also, they’re looking to tether 250 further dealers in their network by the end of 2022.
A spokesperson from Boom Motors in a declaration said, โ The company focuses to excel one lakh unit deals in the coming one time by expanding its manufacturing unit in Coimbatoreโ. Presently, It has erected a plant in Coimbatore able to manufacture one lakh bikes per annum.ย

The Boom Corbett is a resistant and long- lasting bike that’s offered in two alternatives, the Corbett 14 and Corbett 14-EX. The bike will be featuring a2.3 kWh battery which can voluntarily be doubled to4.6 kWh โ giving the vehicle a best-in- class range of over 200 kms.
The batteries are swappable and they come with a movable bowl that can plug into any mรฉnage socket thereby removing the demand for charging structure. The charging time for these batteries will be almost two-and-half to four hours.
Corbett 14 will be able to reach a top speed of 65 kmph, while the 14-EX can reach 75 kmph. The bike will also be effective enough to handle a maximum cargo of 200 kgs, and also it’ll be suitable to handle indeed the steepest slants of the metropolises. The bike has been erected to last with an exo-cadaverous double- cradle lattice made of high-tensile metals.
Also, the bike is also packed with some intelligent features like accident and theft discovery, and a maternal mode.

The introductory pricing for the models has been set at 86,999/- rupees for the Corbett 14 and 1,19,999/- rupees for the 14- EX. Once the end of the introductory offer, the price of the bikes will soar back to 88,999/- Rupees and 1,24,999/-Rupee’s.
CEO Narayanan told that Boom Motors is the first EV company to offer guests to buy its vehicles for 5- time EMI. The Rates will start at 1,699/- rupees per month โ which is lower than what numerous people spend on petrol.
