In a grand event at Dubai’s Kempinski The Palm Hotel, Chinese carmaker BAIC marked the global debut of its latest off-road SUV, the BJ60. Distinguished guests, including members of the Royal family, graced the launch, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

Introduced to the world at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, the BAIC BJ60 is the newest addition to the Chinese automaker’s lineup of off-road SUVs. Under its robust hood lies a potent 2.0-litre turbocharged, four-cylinder petrol engine, unleashing 248bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm. Adding to its prowess, an integrated starter generator mild-hybrid system provides an extra boost of 13.4bhp and 50Nm when demanded.
