Husqvarna Vektorr is the Swedish brand’s first electric scooter, which was unveiled in May 2021. โฆ The claimed range of the concept is exactly the same as the Chetak, hinting that two e-scooters may have more in common than they see.
The Husqvarna Vektor Electric Scooter concept is not far from meeting the assembly line at Bajaj Auto’s brand new EV manufacturing facility in Akurdi, Pune. The Urban Runabout’s camouflaged prototypes have been tested in the country along with its Bajaj counterpart, the Neo-Classic Chetak.
Electric scooters primarily target the European market, I guess the price is around 1550 Euro.

Husqvarna’s parent company KTM and Bajaj are working on modular electric scooter architecture, which plays a crucial role in the urban mobility category for all three brands involved. Bajaj Chetak is already on sale in India and the production version of Husqvarna Vector is next.
Here you will see the rendering images of exquisite EVE created by our design expert, Pratyush Raut, based on spy pictures and concept. While the scooter is expected to share a large number of units with the Bajaj Chetak, the styling is different. If the donor model adopts an old school design, the vector is about modernity.
The angled front apron, upright rear bodywork and flat seats with simple circular headlamps provide youthful appeal. The unconventional design targets the younger audience and makes the house feel like it is in the urban centres of large metropolises around the world.

We expect Husqvarna to put the scooter at the premium end of the market, so we have alloy wheels, high-end tires, front disc brakes, digital instrument consoles with smartphone connectivity, LED headlamp, taillight and turn indicators, ABS (at least one option) and so on.
Technical Specifications
We don’t expect any drastic changes to the powertrain setup compared to the Bajaj Chetak powered by a 4 kW electric motor. The 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack supplies electricity. Bajaj is in the process of introducing a slightly more powerful motor and a more local battery. The Husqvarna vector is likely to start with an updated setup.
Battery range is expected to be around 95 km on full charge and 75 km on top-speed ballpark in Sportiest mode. The Swedish brand can also offer a more premium variant with a longer range to meet the needs of European customers. According to Spy-Shots, the scooter is equipped with a one-sided trailing arm front suspension and rear mono-shock.

Target markets
Husqvarna Vektor is a key product for the KTM Group in international markets, where zero emission scooters are gaining momentum, especially in large cities. The cost advantages associated with making it in India enable the brand to price 1.30 lakh competitively in the target markets.
The scooter will also be sold in India, where it will create its own position in the fast growing premium electric two-wheeler segment. It will rival the other 450x and the new Ola Electric Scooter S1 Pro.
