CATL has 34.8% of the world capacity battery market in H1

LG Energy Solution ranked 2nd with 14.4 percent and BYD ranked 0.33 with 11.8 percent, according to SNE Research.

  CATL has 34.8% of the world’s capacity battery market share in H1-DrivePilots.

  International electric powered car battery will be 203.4 GWh within the first 1/2 of this 12 months, with Chinese capacity battery bulk CATL contributing 70.9 GWh, according to a file released these days using South Korean market study corporation SNE Research.

  This gave CATL 34.8 percent of the worldwide capacity battery market within the first 1/2, up 6.2 percent from 28.6 percent within the same length of the final 12 months.

  South Korea’s LG Energy Solutions took second place with 14.4 percent, down from 23.8 percent over the 12-month period, according to SNE Research.

  China’s BYD ranked 0.33 with 11.8 percent, up five percent from 6.8 percent in the previous 12 months.

  Japan’s Panasonic was fourth at 9.6 percent, down from 15 percent over the past 12 months.

  South Korea’s SK On and Samsung SDI are ranked 5th and 6th with 6.5 percent and 4.9 percent shares respectively.

  Chinese corporations from 7th to 10th place, CALB 4.1 percent, Goshan Hitech 2.9 percent, Sunvoda 1.5 percent and Swolte Energy 1.3 percent.

  In China, corporations including CATL and BYD led the market boom, while CALB and an alternative pinnacle of 10 Chinese corporations exhibited excessive triple-digit boom costs, the SNE Research file noted.

  On the other hand, maximum Japanese corporations, including Panasonic, had boom costs below the general market and persevered to decline, the file said.

  Notably, CARL’s role seems to be to strengthen the world’s largest mobile manufacturer.

  On July 21, Ford launched additional capacity mobile capacity plans in battery distribution and introduced an international capacity mobile delivery solution with CATL.

  CATL will deliver lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs for the Ford Mustang Mac-E purchased in North America over the next 12 months and the F-One hundred and fifty Lightning purchased in North America in early 2024.

  Hyundai Motor Co’s affiliate Kia has decided on CARL’s batteries to expand its range of battery suppliers for its electric Niro SUV, the Hankook Ilbo said on June 22, citing an unnamed Kia official.

  While this is the first time Kia has installed Chinese-made batteries in its own relative’s cars sector, the file noted that no financial or quantity phrases of the battery deal were disclosed.

  On June 23, Chinese media Kylian referred to the CARL resets and pronounced the file genuine without disclosing any information.
