Segway GT2 Scooter
The Segway GT2 electric scooter pushes the brand into a high-performance area with a fast and powerful standing electric scooter.
Most of the standard electric scooters we commonly see on the streets of the US and Europe roll on smaller 8-inch wheels and feature less 350W motors, the Segway GT2 is a prequel in all ways.

Its 11-inch wheels cover up to 3,000W of total motors. If it’s more power to you, you can use the accompanying smartphone app to dial back the power while you’re learning to tame the beast.
A pair of powerful motors help the Segway GT2 blast at 70 km / h (43.5 mph).
It may be somewhere in the middle of the border, in many places and in some whole countries, apparently illegal. And so, Segways 11 Inch tubeless pneumatic with jelly layer: self healing tyres refers to maximum speed up to 70 km/h mode as “on the race track.”
Yes, I’m sure all new riders of Segways front and rear wheel drive will sign up for track time…
The GT2 wheels are not larger than usual, but the 11-inch tires are self-healing, feature a “jelly layer” and you will ride longer and be less obstructed by flat tires.
The 92mm tread is much wider than what we usually see on most urban electric scooters, giving the tires a larger contact patch and thus greater traction.
The Segway scooter is not just fast; It’s also quick. The scooter can reach speeds of up to 48 km / h (30 mph) in just four seconds, which speaks to the high wattage of those dual electric motors. Dual motors are capable of using Segway traction control, which helps reduce power when the wheel is slipping.
Complimenting dual motors is the dual adjustable-damping hydraulic suspension. The scooter packs a unique rear swingarm, but the front fork uses a more girder-style suspension setup, which is rarely found on electric scooters.
Since the scooter is rated for a maximum rider weight of 150 kg (330 lbs), that suspension must be firm. The scooter alone already scales at 52 kg (115 lb), so it has no feather.
The transparent OLED screen adorns the handlebars, providing information on speed, battery, ride mode, turn signal status and more.
Riders don’t need to check battery status very often. Segway says the scooter can travel up to 90 km (56 miles) per charge.
According to Pocket Lint, the scooter will be available in Q2 or Q3 this year.
The company still has to offer MSRP, but don’t expect it to come in the bargain.
